b

What are Gorilla Mats made of?

Gorilla Mats are made using the highest quality materials and eco-friendly manufacturing techniques.  Gorilla Mats are made of premium high density, non-toxic 16P free foam.

Our mats have no odor, no smells, no latex, no silicone, and no toxins.

b

Can I use a Gorilla Mat on carpet, tile, concrete, hardwood floors, etc?

Yes!  Gorilla Mats can be used on almost any flat surface to provide comfortable padding, shock absorption, non-slip grip, and high density protection for your joints and floors.

On the bottom of every Gorilla Mat, there is a unique dot pattern that is designed to keep your mat from sliding around while you're using it.  The weight of an extra large mat helps keep the mat in place too.

However, in some cases with intense workouts and thicker carpets, our mats may need a little more to lock them in place.  We recommend and our customers have had success with Rug Anchors in this case.

b

Do Gorilla Mats help reduce impact and noise?

Yes, absolutely.  Gorilla Mats are made of with premium, high density foam and thicker than most exercise and yoga mats.  Our mats will protect your joints and floors by adding extra padding and shock absorption to your jumping, dancing, and cardio exercise routines.

b

Can I put my treadmill, elliptical machine, stationary bike, gym equipment, on a Gorilla Mat?

Yes, as long as there are no sharp edges, our Premium Large Exercise Mats can be used to provide extra cushion, protect your flooring, and reduce vibrations and noise from your gym and fitness training equipment.  Keep in mind, if the equipment is heavy it may leave an imprint on your mat.
b

Can I place two or more Gorilla Mats together?

Many customers purchase more than one Gorilla Mat to create an even larger area for their home gym or home studio.

Depending on your use and flooring, the weight of the Gorilla Mats and the unique dot pattern on the bottom of our mats is usually enough to keep the mats together.

However, you may want to secure the mats together another way.  In this case, we recommend and our customers have had success with Meister Mat Tape.

b

How can I purchase a Gorilla Mat?

Gorilla Mats are available here on our website.  We accept payment with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover credit cards, Paypal, or Amazon Pay.

Your Gorilla Mat is covered with a 100% satisfaction guarantee if you change your mind for any reason as well as a lifetime warranty.

b

How should I clean my Gorilla Mat?

For a quick clean after each workout or yoga session, wee recommend using a  Gorilla Mat 100% Microfiber Towel to wipe away any moisture.

When your mat gets to the point where it needs a deeper cleaning, we recommend the following:

  1. Mix a few drops of non-bleach dish soap in a small bowl of warm water.
  2. Use a cloth or soft brush to scrub the top surface with the mixture.
  3. Wipe clean and dry using a towel or hang dry in the sun.
  4. Make sure your mat is completely dry on both sides before rolling up!
b

Why is my Gorilla Mat slippery?

Gorilla Mats can be a little slippery when they are brand new.  We call this the "break in" period and it will definitely get better with use!  This is the nature of the ultra-durable top layer of the mat.  Also, hopefully you take comfort in knowing that the sweat and moisture isn't absorbing into the mat.

You can speed up the break in period by cleaning the mat with a small amount of mild dish soap and warm water.  Or lay it out in a high traffic area for a week or two.

b

Where should I store my Gorilla Mat?

Gorilla Mats can be rolled up and secured using the two velcro storage straps that are included with your mat.  If you need it out of the way, you can roll it to the side of your room, lean it in a corner, or hide it away in a closet or under your bed.
